The state of being, the unfurling - when my mind is in perfect sync with my body, the colours of my palette that slowly become one with the canvas, and the varied ideas and strokes that become one beautiful picture, have but one aim in common. To become one.

This is Ekagrata, the Unison.

EKAGRATA is the chosen name for my art. As it is also the phenomenon.

Although educated and trained to be a professional jewellery designer, it was somewhere around the end of 2014, that I began to weave together the subtle details of the two major inspirations of my life, in my work - Mythology and Mysticism. Exploring these domains has given birth to many of my imaginative thoughts finding their way on my canvases.

Awe struck, overwhelmed and profoundly inspired by my revered Lord Shiva, I have tried to worship him and everything he stands for in many of my works.

Most of my work is a reflection of my aspirations and beliefs. I find myself tending towards bright colours and monotones, usually all at once. My work in exploring more facets of my inspiration and giving them a tangible form keeps me excited and elated.
